In the ‘brave new world’ of Labour monopolised Barking and Dagenham, motorists are having to cough up. The CCTV-equipped Smart car has been taking its toll on longsuffering drivers, and has copped 14 851 motorists in Barking and Dagenham in a single year, pulling in £660 000!
This dreaded Smart car, which is a blatant fund raising machine for the Council, makes the lives of local drivers a misery, as its sole purpose is to film motorists who park illegally or break motoring law. In the old days of traffic wardens only, there was a sense of discretion and give and take. Now we have to put up with a robot policing us, patrolling the streets in order to exact money for its council taskmasters, and spying and prying on our every move.
Unfortunately, there’s no longer any opposing voice in the Council Chamber. Our totalitarian Labour Council has carte blanche to do just what it wants. Labour say and we pay, as usual!
It won’t be long now before the good people of Barking and Dagenham realise how important it is to have an effective opposition. Make no mistake, the BNP will be soon be back!
